Financial Controller

Our client is a medium sized company located in Northern Ontario. Reporting to the President, the Financial Controller will be a key member of the management team and will be responsible for the accounting function of the organization. The role will include ownership of: Accounting, Finance, Payroll, Administration, and IT functions.
The ideal candidate is a designated accountant and will possess solid experience in managing an Accounting/Finance department. Exposure to the transportation/logistics industry would be very beneficial. Effective communication and people management skills are important. The ability to work well with others, a keen eye for detail, a solid work ethic, and a proactive approach to managing the business - are all key success factors for this role.
