Divisional Controller

Our client in the west GTA is recruiting a Divisional Controller.  This is a corporate level role in a publicly traded, high growth organization where hard work and commitment to excellence are well rewarded.  The role will play an integral part of the accounting and reporting team and will also oversee all accounting policies and the accurate production of consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, other areas of responsibility include tracking accounting issues associated with the public entity’s subsidiary accounting functions and ensuring consistency of accounting policies and procedures.

 Qualified candidates have a formal accounting designation (preference for a CA) and a minimum of 3 years progressive corporate reporting experience in a publicly traded entity.  You have superior accounting technical knowledge and a passion for continuous improvement and ongoing development.  Experience with JDE and/or the real estate industry would also be beneficial to the role.
