Financial Analyst

Our large, growing retail client in the west end is currently recruiting a Financial Analyst.  In this role you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing key performance metrics in addition to maintaining the General Ledger accounts related to Cost of Sales and Inventory.  You will play a critical role in performing various ad-hoc analyses and be instrumental in supporting key business groups with critical financial information.

Qualified applicants must have a university degree and have completed or be in the process of completing a CMA designation.  Additionally, 3-5 yrs experience in a financial analysis role is required where preference will be given to those with experience in the retail industry.  Advanced Excel modeling skills including macros in addition to database experience (MS Access) are critical to success in this role.  Strong organization, communication and presentation skills are required.
