Accounting Manager

Do you possess strong financial reporting, accounting, and audit/compliance skills? Are you a Chartered Accountant? Do you have exposure to IFRS? Are you up to the challenge of managing an Accounting Department? If so, this could be your ideal role.

Our client is an international company located in the GTA. Reporting to the CFO, the Accounting Manager will be a key member of the management team. The Accounting Manager will have full responsibility for the accounting function of the organization. The role will include ownership of: Accounting, Payroll, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Compliance, Pensions, and Benefits.

The ideal candidate is a CA and will possess previous experience in managing an Accounting/Finance department. Experience working in an SAP environment would be considered beneficial. Effective communication and people management skills are important. The ability to work well with others, a keen eye for detail, a solid work ethic, and a proactive approach to managing the business - are all key success factors for this role.
