Sr. Plant Accountant/Accounting Manager

Are you an energetic and experienced Sr. Plant Accountant/Accounting Manager? Do you want to work close to home in North GTA? If so, read on as this newly created role will provide challenge and opportunity as well as a shorter commute.

Our client is searching for an Accounting Manager/Controller to work in a manufacturing plant, reporting to both the GM of the plant and corporate head office. You will be hands-on, manage a small team, providing monthly financials and management reports to corporate, as well as monthly forecasts and cash forecasting. You will work closely with operations and be a key resource in all fiscal issues. Additionally you will assist with planning and monitoring of ongoing projects.

To be considered you will be in or have recently completed an Accounting Designation (CMA or CGA). Experience working in a manufacturing plant is required, and in particular automotive experience is beneficial. Any project based accounting an asset. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise between the plant and corporate.
