Senior Financial Analyst

Our client in the west end is a global leader in the consumer goods industry.  Their brands are household names that enrich and contribute to the lives of all Canadians.  They are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst position.  This role will coordinate and prepare month-end closing and financial statement activities.  It will ensure accuracy of financial information and track and review operating expenses including trend analysis and recommendations for cost containment.  This role will oversee one direct report.

Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in a financial role and have completed or be working towards a CGA or CMA designation.    Additional qualifications include advanced systems skills (ideally experience with SAP) and superior communication abilities.  The ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment are critical to one's success in this role.
