Our client in Downtown Toronto, a Financial Services group, is currently recruiting for an Accounting Administrator for 12 Month Contract role.
This newly created role has a high potential of becoming permanent. The role is a combination of finance and administrative duties where the incumbent shall be working with finance team and brokers to enter GIC information and handle general accounting analysis related to the function. Key responsibilities would include processing daily orders for GICs from portfolio management systems, liaise with brokers on day to day administrative and reporting issues, Process and prepare general ledger entries, and maintaining standard operating procedures.
- Post secondary education in Business
- Minimum one year of accounting experience
- Microsoft software skills including strong excel skill is a must
- Effective verbal and written skills
